Roucha Legio is a stereo 12dB/octave state-variable multimode filter for the Legio DSP platform from Noise Engineering. Roucha Legio’s filter has lowpass, bandpass, and highpass settings and a cv-able resonance that goes from beautifully clean to the ideal squelch for acid basslines and in-your-face filter sweeps. Roucha Legio’s filter frequency can be adjusted with the encoder or with the one volt/octave CV input. The encoder also includes acceleration: turn it faster to increase the rate of frequency change.
Roucha Legio includes Fold and a configuration switch to add wavefolding to the signal chain before, after, or both before and after the filter. Finally, Roucha Legio is easy to bypass and enable for dramatic cuts, buildups, and drops: just tap the encoder or send a gate in to the module.
